Thank you, Highlights, for decades of service to children, and for making clear the how destructive and horrific the practice of separating children from their parents is at the American border. As a Stanford-trained mental health professional, I agree completely. This practice causes irreparable damage to children, and is a violation of their human rights. We need to cease this horror in the names of American citizens at once.
